Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Rando team ("Rando," "we," "us") handles information when you use runrando.com, its subdomains, and the Rando services (together, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
If you enter a campaign, submit a social username, connect a wallet, request support, or make a privacy request, we may receive information such as:
- a social media username
- a public Solana wallet address
- campaign-entry information
- information needed to verify control of a wallet or social account
Rando does not currently collect email addresses through public forms or mailing lists.
Public blockchain data
Rando reads publicly available blockchain data, including wallet addresses, token balances, token-account ownership, transactions, and other on-chain activity, to determine eligibility, operate reward systems, route rewards, and publish results.
Blockchain data is public, permanent, and outside Rando's control.
Technical data
Hosting, infrastructure, database, and security providers may process technical information such as:
- IP addresses
- browser and device information
- requested pages or endpoints
- timestamps
- diagnostic and security logs
IP addresses may be processed for rate-limiting, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention. Some abuse-prevention records that include IP data may be retained while reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Wallet connections
Rando uses standard Solana wallet-connection software. Wallet connections occur in your browser. Rando receives the public wallet address and does not receive your private key or seed phrase.
Wallet providers process connection data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Browser storage
Rando does not use cookies for public visitors.
The Cipher experience may use browser local storage to remember the username entered and limited Cipher participation state on that device. This information remains in the browser unless it is cleared.
Administrative interfaces may use browser storage for administrative session or access information. Those interfaces are not intended for public use.
Analytics and tracking
Rando does not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, third-party analytics trackers, or advertising technology.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- operate, secure, and maintain the Services
- determine eligibility for rewards and campaigns
- run reward selections and payouts
- resolve or provision reward wallets through supported providers
- publish results and related records
- prevent fraud, abuse, botting, sybil activity, and manipulation
- troubleshoot errors and infrastructure issues
- respond to support, legal, and privacy requests
- enforce our Terms and protect users, the public, and the Services
3. How Information Is Shared
Public results and proof data
Winner displays may show:
- a social username for a social campaign winner
- a truncated wallet address for a holder-reward winner
- a reward amount
- draw or campaign information
- aggregate eligibility information
- a draw identifier or timestamp
- links to public blockchain transactions or accounts
Underlying public APIs, proof data, and linked blockchain records may expose full wallet addresses and may allow a social username and wallet address to be associated. Blockchain transactions and account records are public by nature.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, infrastructure, database storage, rate-limiting, blockchain access, wallet connectivity, social-platform integration, and reward routing.
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We may change providers without updating this Policy unless the change materially affects how information is collected, used, stored, or shared.
Blockchain and third-party platforms
Wallet addresses and reward transactions may be sent to blockchain networks, wallet providers, reward-routing providers, and related services as necessary to process rewards.
Social usernames may be sent to supported identity or reward-routing providers to resolve or provision a wallet and configure reward delivery.
Legal and protective disclosures
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to:
- protect users or the public
- investigate fraud or abuse
- enforce our Terms
- protect the Site, Services, or our legal rights
- respond to lawful requests from authorities
We do not sell personal information.
4. Retention
Campaign entries
Campaign-entry records may be retained after a campaign ends. Rando does not guarantee a specific deletion timeline. Records may be removed when no longer needed for operation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Public winner history
Public winner results may be retained permanently to preserve historical results and transparency.
Holder-winner displays use truncated wallet addresses, although full addresses may appear in underlying APIs, linked blockchain records, and transaction explorers. Social-winner displays may show the winner's social username.
Draw and eligibility records
Rando retains draw history and related records used by the current system. The type and detail of information retained vary by reward mode and record version. Rando does not promise that a complete eligible-wallet snapshot is stored for every draw.
Logs and abuse-prevention data
Technical logs, rate-limit records, and abuse-prevention data may be retained as reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and operation of the Services.
Blockchain records
Blockchain records are permanent and outside our control.
5. Your Choices and Requests
You may request:
- access to personal information Rando currently holds about you
- correction of inaccurate personal information
- deletion of personal information Rando holds
- correction or partial masking of a published social username
Requests may be submitted through:
- legal@runrando.com
- @rando_rewards on X
We may require a request to continue by email when sensitive information, account verification, or a reliable written record is needed.
We may require reasonable verification that you control the relevant wallet, social account, or other identifier. We may deny or limit a request if we cannot reasonably verify your identity or authority.
Privacy requests are processed free of charge and within a reasonable time. We may decline or limit requests that are abusive, repetitive, fraudulent, unverifiable, or otherwise not required by law.
If a request to remove a published social username is approved, the public result may remain while the username is partially masked. The amount of masking may vary case by case. We may retain or continue displaying information when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, resolve disputes, or preserve the integrity of a campaign or reward record.
If a correction request is approved, the inaccurate username may be replaced. We do not intentionally maintain a separate long-term record of completed privacy requests, although information may be retained where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
We cannot delete or alter public blockchain records, third-party copies, search-engine caches, or records independently maintained by service providers.
6. Children and Legal Capacity
The Services are not intended for anyone who has not reached the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone who lacks the legal capacity to use the Services.
7. International Use
Rando may be accessed internationally. We do not collect or verify users' physical locations and do not represent that the Services are lawful in every jurisdiction.
You are responsible for determining whether your use of the Services and receipt of rewards are lawful where you live or access the Services.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may rely on or link to third-party platforms, wallets, blockchain explorers, social networks, and other services. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Rando does not control their privacy or security practices.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information under our control. No website, blockchain system, wallet connection, transmission method, or electronic storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date identifies the current version. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
